We are delighted to announce that the amazing Cheese and Chilli Festival is back in Christchurch for 2019. The event is now in it’s 6th year! The event in 2019 will bring an amazing array of tastes, colours and experiences to town and is a ‘must go to event’. Come rain or shine, the event will be fantastic!
A festival is not a festival without some live music! To keep us entertained, we have a number of bands playing for us throughout the weekend. The bands will be celebrated musicians from around the region playing anything from from jazz to rock. See the schedule for further information.
A number of cooking demonstrations or talks will be offered by professionals from the cheese and chilli industry. Many sessions will be hosted by the famous Chilli Olly but we will also have many guest speakers. See the schedule for further details. The Demonstration Tent will also host the popular Man V Food Challenge and a Ready Steady Cook interactive cooking session.
At every event there will be a FREE to enter and play Human Sized Table Football. Just like the table top game but it’s full size. For all ages, strap yourself in and have a laugh trying to play football whilst attached to a metal bar.
We are pleased to be supporting The Haven Breast Cancer centre again in 2018 who support anyone affected by breast cancer for free. From the welcoming centre in Titchfield, Hampshire, the counsellors, therapists and health professionals offer support to those who need it to help with the personal challenges of living with breast cancer. Anyone can go to the centre. There are no geographical restrictions and no need for a doctors referral. Just get in touch and make an appointment today.
Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) is a UK registered charity that acts as a central veterinary resource offering free care to animals around the world by supplying teams of vets, medicines and equipment. We also run our own projects, from neutering campaigns in Malawi to equine clinics in India, and train vets at our three International Training Centres in India and Thailand. From disaster emergency response to veterinary training and education, we treat animals in places where no else can and support animal charities and NGOs striving to make a difference to animals worldwide. Set up by local Dorset vet Luke Gamble, we’re now in our 15th year and our projects have been going from strength to strength, but we need the help of people like you to ensure we can continue to provide lifesaving aid to animals who have no one else. You’ll see some of our team on the front gate running the Christchurch Cheese and Chilli Festival car park again this year, but please do come and see our stand in the main arena to find out more about how you can help us on the frontline of animal welfare by becoming a member of WVS!
The venue is next to the Hurn Bridge Equestrian Centre, Hurn, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 6AD.
Bus Travel Can be via the A1 Bus Service running from Bournemouth Town Centre to the Adventure Wonderland which is a short walk from the Estate.
Don’t forget to collect your discount vouchers on the door along with your programme. The vouchers are worth approximately £20 so you can get the cost of your entry back when you buy your goodies. The vouchers are available to spend whilst at the event and some are available to spend online from selected traders.
Dogs are very welcome at the show, all we asks is that they are kept on leads and you pick up any waste.
Camping is available at the Christchurch Cheese & Chilli Festival at £10 per person.
There will be FREE parking at the event grounds.
