4th & 5th August 2018 – 10.00 am to 5.00 pm

We are delighted to announce that the amazing Cheese and Chilli Festival will also be held in Cheltenham for 2018 for the first time at Sanford Park.

The event will bring an amazing array of tastes, colours and experiences to town and is a ‘must go to event’. Come rain or shine, the event will be fantastic!
The venue boasts a great space and is a beautiful setting which helps make the atmosphere amazing. We will again see more cheese and chillies on offer from around the world than previous years’, so come and enjoy.

The event has an obvious focus on cheese and chilli, but there will be something for everyone at the event and is a perfect family day out with FREE activities for children and adults to take part in as well as fun rides and games etc.  Other entertainments include, PIG RACING, Cooking Demonstrations, Presentations, Tastings, Man V Food Challenge, Chilli Eating Competitions, Magic Shows, Falconry Flying Displays, Punch & Judy, Balloon Modelling plus lots more.

If that wasn’t enough, there will be a fantastic Beer Festival all weekend from our very own Downton Brewery! Plus this year we have Dorset Mobile Bar’s fantastic Inflatable Pub and Worley’s Cider bar serving a wide selection of ciders and larger plus others.

To complement the party, with a dedicated stage area, live music from many local acts will be performed at the event.

Please see the schedule for notification of the bands playing at times etc.

We are very pleased to also announce that we will be supporting the Marie Curie charity at this event. Marie Curie provide emotional & practical support and guidance to anyone diagnosed with a terminal illness, whether that is through our at home nursing service, our online forums or our free information line. They also have 9 hospices around the UK and campaign to keep Terminal Illness at the top of the political agenda.  The team will be on site hoping to generate some much needed funds so if you’re feeling generous please donate to a worthy cause.

Dogs are very welcome at the show, all we asks is that they are kept on leads and you pick up any waste.

We are still planning the schedule so please bear with us while we continue to make the necessary arrangements.
