Getting to the festival from Chichester Railway Station:

• Walking: Approximately 20–25 minutes.

Walking directions from the station:

Turn left when leaving Chichester Railway Station and head towards South Street.

Continue along South Street until you reach the historic Chichester Cross.

Walk straight ahead along North Street until you reach the Northgate area.

Cross towards Northgate Car Park and continue past the car park, keeping it on your right.

You’ll see Chichester Festival Theatre ahead. The festival takes place in Oaklands Park, beside the theatre.

Several services stop within walking distance of Oaklands Park.

Stagecoach Route 55 – Chichester and surrounding areas

• Catch the number 55 bus towards Chichester.
• Alight at Franklin Place, near Northgate Car Park.
• From here, Oaklands Park is approximately a 4-minute walk.
• Follow the pedestrian route past Chichester Festival Theatre towards the festival entrance.

Stagecoach Route 60 – Midhurst to Chichester

The number 60 bus connects Midhurst and surrounding communities with Chichester.

Visitors can alight at King George Gardens, approximately a 4-minute walk from Oaklands Park.

Stagecoach Route 700 – Coastliner

The Coastliner 700 provides connections along the Sussex coast, including Worthing, Littlehampton and Chichester.

Visitors can travel into Chichester and walk to the festival from the city centre.

Pay-and-display parking is available at Northgate Car Park, immediately adjacent to Oaklands Park.

Oaklands Park is accessible by bicycle from Chichester and surrounding areas.

Visitors are encouraged to use local cycle routes wherever possible and bring a suitable bicycle lock.
