Information

Breeze for Business

We’re all about making travel easier and more sustainable! That’s why we’re working with Winchester City Council to help our visitors explore greener ways to get around.

Have you heard of the Breeze: Journey Planner App? It’s a super handy travel tool that brings together buses, trains, ferries, and active travel options—all in one place for trips across the Solent area. Plus, you can even book tickets for most transport providers directly through the app!

Just search Breeze: Journey Planner on your device and start your journey the easy way.

Buses

Park & Ride: The Park & Ride service operates from South Park and stops at North Walls which is only a short walk to the venue.  Further details can be found here.

Buses: Stagecoach runs buses from Winchester to Romsey, Alresford, Eastleigh, Petersfield, Bishop’s Waltham, Whitchurch and many surrounding villages and suburbs.  Bluestar No. 1 service leaves Southampton City Centre (stop CU Hanover Buildings) approximately every 20 minutes. The journey takes 50 minutes to Winchester Bus Station.

Coaches: National Express coaches come into the Park and Ride East car park.

Train

Train: From Winchester station, North Walls Recreation Ground is 0.5 miles walk via Stockbridge Rd, North Walls and then Park Avenue.  A map of the route can be seen here.

See link below for information relating to South Western Railway.

Dogs are Welcome

Dogs are very welcome at the show, all we asks is that they are kept on leads and you pick up any waste.

Car Parking

On Saturday, we recommend using Winchester’s Park & Ride facilities for stress-free parking. There are four sites around the city, served by frequent buses. A full day’s parking is usually £3.50, with cheaper “off-peak” rates after 10:30 a.m.

If you’d rather park closer:

  • Several pay & display and multi-storey car parks are within walking distance of the festival site (e.g. Tower Street, Chesil Street, Middle Brook Street, Durngate).
  • On-street parking is available in many areas — typical charges are ÂŁ1.90 for 1 hour (Mon–Sat) in streets like Andover Road, Victoria Road, Upper High Street.
  • For those arriving by train (or wishing to park near the station), the Winchester Railway Station car park is available with hourly/24h rates. You can also pre-book nearby spaces via JustPark.

Although Winchester’s Park & Ride car parks remain open 7 days a week, the bus service does not run on Sundays or public holidays — so on those days you won’t be able to use them as shuttle parks.

If you’re visiting on a Sunday or when the bus isn’t operating, we suggest one of the other options as shown above.

Need A Mobility Scooter?

Mobility Scooter

We’re proud to be partnering with Terraglide Mobility to make the festival accessible for everyone!

Terraglide will be providing mobility scooters for visitors who need a little extra help getting around.

Scooters must be pre-booked in advance, so please use the link below to get in touch with Terraglide Mobility and reserve yours today.

Discount Vouchers
Don’t forget to collect your discount vouchers on the door along with your programme. The vouchers are worth approximately £20 so you can get the cost of your entry back when you buy your goodies. The vouchers are available to spend whilst at the event and some are available to spend online from selected traders.

Our Carbon Footprint
We are committed to making the Festival more environmentally friendly and we encourage you to do the same. Help us to keep the site tidy and leave no trace. Please bring and use your own water bottles. Try to conserve water on non-essential use. Do not bring glass; no glass bottles are allowed on site. We will also be offering visitors the opportunity to purchase a sustainable reusable cup instead of using single use plastic containers at the bar. We are actively exploring other ways that we can help reduce our carbon footprint. Together we can make a difference.
Top 5 Thins to Consider
1. Recycle, recycle recycle!!

2. Keep tidy. Please don’t leave rubbish or equipment

3. Bring your own water bottle and refill onsite

4. Car share

5. Use public transport or as sustainable as possible transport, particularly if local
