Well, what a weekend that was. Cheese and Chilli Festival 2026 has come to an end and we just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along. Whether you visited for a few hours or stayed all day, it was brilliant to see so many people enjoying the food, entertainment and friendly atmosphere that makes the festival what it is.
Thank you for being part of it
Seeing people arrive with their Festival Tickets in hand ready to enjoy the day is something we never take for granted. Every family, group of friends and first time visitors helped make this year’s Cheese and Chilli Festival feel special and we are so grateful for all the support.
There was such a lovely atmosphere across the weekend. People were discovering new flavours, enjoying the live music, having a go at the chilli challenges and simply making the most of a great day out together.
So much great food to discover
One of the highlights is always seeing people find something they were not expecting. Maybe it was a cheese they had never tried before, a chilli sauce with just the right amount of heat or a street food stall they could not walk past.
The traders and producers put so much effort into what they do and it was fantastic to see so many visitors chatting with them, asking questions and leaving with bags full of tasty treats to enjoy at home.
It is the people who make the festival
Of course, the food is a big part of the weekend but it is the people that really bring the festival to life. Seeing children enjoying the entertainment, friends catching up over lunch and visitors laughing together is what makes it all worthwhile.
We make great memories every year and 2026 also gave us good moments to smile about. It is those little memories that stay with you long after the festival has finished.
We are already looking forward to 2027
It might seem a little early but planning for next year is already under way. We are excited to start putting together another fantastic programme and cannot wait to welcome everyone back again.
